Request to Remove a Lien
If you have a lien placed on your property due to non-payment of a balance and need it removed, please follow the steps below:
- Ensure all past due balances are paid to the Association and your account is up to date (including the lien filing/release fee of $150).
- Fill out the form below to get your lien release request in for the next scheduled lien release day. We handle all lien releases on the last business day every month. We understand time sensitive issues come up and you may need your lien released sooner. In that case select the "expedited" release option and we will handle your lien removal the next business day. This option does require an immediate additional payment of $100 to cover the expense of expediting this process for you.
- Be prepared to respond to any requests from our office to provide any necessary documentation or information to aid us in this process. Your timely response ensures we are able to successfully remove your lien. You will receive confirmation from our office that your lien is set to be removed once we have everything we need.
- Keep an eye out for your mailed documentation from the County Clerk. Once they receive the release forms from us it make take several business days for them to file the documents. Once successfully filed they will send you confirmation via USPS that your lien has been removed. You can go in person to their office to request documentation sooner if needed.
